Govt. extends Hafiz Saad's extension trampling review board orders

DC Lahore has extended Hafiz Saad Rizvi's extension further under ATA act, trampling the review board orders. In its detailed verdict on July 8, provincial review board ordered the forthwith release of Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi setting govt.'s extension request aside. TLP lawyers reached jail administration today morning who assured release around 5PM. A lot of people and scholars gathered Jamia Masjid RehmatulilAlameen and central jail Lahore. But then the jail administration showed the further extension orders. TLP lawyers have announced to deal it legally while CEC's statement is still awaited.

Earlier Saturday

According to lawyers, through a video message, jail officials have acknowledged the receiving of original copy of review board order and said that they would release Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi today before 5PM. A lot of workers and lawyers are already there to give a warm welcome to Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi who is completing his 90 days of detention today.

In a tweet from TLP official tweeter handler, all workers from Lahore and suburbs are requested to reach Jamia Masjid RehmatulilAlameen, Mulatn Road, Lahore.
