Supreme Court's review board "extends" nullified detention of Hafiz Saad Rizvi
A federal review board of SC extends detention of Hafiz Saad Rizvi for a month. Deputy Commissioner Lahore, umer sher chattha, wrote a letter on September 29 requesting extension in detention. Review board in a video link meeting extended the detention for 1 month and informed additional secretary punjab. However, according to lawyer of Ameer Hussain, it is ridiculous to extend the detention which has already been declared nullified by high court.
"LHC declared orders of Hafiz Saad's detention nullified at all. How can a non-existing detention could be extended," said Burhan Muazzam Malik in talk with a famous journalist.
