TLP organizes 'Labbaik Azadi' march and rallies to mark the independence day

Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan marked Pakistan's independence day holding 'Labbaik Azadi' march and rallies across the country including Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar. The rallies in Balochistan province were called off amid flood and disastrous situation. Hundreds of thousands people participated in the central rallies of Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar. Rallies in various other cities including Faislabad, Pakpattan, Okara and Bahawalnagar were organized and led by local TLP bodies.

Labbaik Azadi March in Lahore was led by Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi which was scheduled to leave Data Darbar at 2PM for Darbar Hazrat Ameer ul Mujahideen. However, the march took much longer to reach Darbar Hazrat Ameer ul Mujahideen after the route was changed to via Punjab Assembly, on the directions of TLP leadership. Peer Syed Zaheer ul Hassan Shah, Allama Farooq ul Hassan, Allama Ghulam Abbas Faizi, Hafiz Anas Rizvi, Allama Hassan Raza Naqshbandi, Mufti Abid Raza and Allama Safdar Ali Rizvi were also among the leadership on the stage.

Azadi march in Karachi started from Civic centre and concluded at Quaid mausoleum. It was led by TLP's parliamentary leader in Sindh Assembly, Mufti Qasim Fakhri.
