KPK Police hindering the release of arrested TLP workers by delaying tactics
KPK police is trying to hinder the release of TLP workers who were arrested during the Milad un Nabi procession on October 16th. TLP lawyers filed a petition seeking bail of 79 workers on Friday (October 21st), which was initially fixed for hearing in anti-terrorism court (ATC) Abbottabad on Monday but later delayed to Tuesday (October 25th) due to bar's strike. However, KPK police didn't furnish record in the court during the hearing on Tuesday, on which the court issued a notice to police and adjourned the hearing till Friday (October 28th). According to a statement issued by TLP Islamabad zone, it was stated that KPK police is hindering the bail process on purpose by delaying tactics.
