TLP announces a shutter-down strike on Monday 27th as deadline for government to reduce petrol prices ends

In a short video message, Ameer (chairman) Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi and Naib Ameer (vice chairman) Peer Syed Zaheer ul Hassan Shah announced a shutter-down strike on Monday (February 27th) as government didn't revoke its order of a massive hike in petroleum prices. Earlier, TLP demanded government to reduce petroleum prices within 72 hours on Friday but no action was taken from PDM led government. As the ultimatum of 72 hours came to the end, TLP announced a shutter-down strike as a first step which will take place on Monday 27th.
