Karbala teaches to stand up for the truth, Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi

Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi addressed the Zikr-e-Shuhada-e-Karbala Conference in Sharqpur Sharif on August 31, 2020. He narrated that Hazrat Imam Hussain delivered a sermon in front of the Yazidi army at Baida.

O People, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Whoever sees a ruler who is a tyrant, who makes lawful what Allah has forbidden, breaks the covenant of Allah, opposes the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), rules among the servants of Allah with oppression and aggression and the beholder does not feel going against him in words or deeds, then Allah has the right to cast him into Hell in place of that ruler.

Then Allama Sahib addressed the participants and asked whether it is permissible for girls to dance in mosques? He was referring to the recent desecration of Wazir Khan Masjid when a singer and an actress recorded dance in the mihrab. Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi had earlier offered Jumu’ah there during which the government did not allow canopies in the mosque, did not lay prayer mats and in the summer heat neither fans were run nor water was provided.

He said that today’s politicians state that the incident of Karbala teaches peace. There can be no greater lie than this. I say that Karbala teaches to stand up for the truth.

Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) stood against the government of Yazid because he was a bad character, a tyrant ruler, making forbidden permissible and vice versa. But our rulers present the message of Karbala in their own way. Few examples are given at the end of this article.

Allama Sahib said that it is not acceptable to target the Companions under the guise of Hazrat Ali.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said that the love of these four cannot be gathered in the heart of a hypocrite, Abu Bakar, Umar, Uthman and Ali. And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

Abu Bakr in Paradise
And age per age
And Uthman in Paradise
And Ali in Paradise
And Zubair per Ajna
And Talha in Paradise
And Abdul Rahman Ibn Awf in Paradise
And Saeed Ibn Zayd in Paradise
And Abu Ubaidah Ibn Al-Jarrah in Paradise
And Sa’d ibn Abi Waqas in Paradise

May Almighty Allah be pleased with him.

The conference ended with reciting Darood and Salam on beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace and countless blessings of Almighty Allah be upon him.

Notes

Karbla teaches the lesson of peace and patience but our politicians use these adjectives to pacify the people so that they do not question their wrongdoings.

PTI senior central leader Ejaz Ahmad Chaudhry: Muharram teaches us peace, brotherhood and patience.
Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjarani: Karbala incident teaches us self-sacrifice, patience and perseverance to achieve lofty goals
Provincial Minister for Revenue Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa: Karbala incident teaches patience, tolerance, self-sacrifice and sacrifice
PML-N Labor Senior District Vice President Seth Mukhtar Ahmed of Jhabran: Karbala incident teaches us peace and patience
