TLP commends capital sentence for blasphemers' by Islamabad ATC

Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan commended Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court's (ATC) verdict in an online blasphemy case. Three of the accused have been sentenced to death while one has been sentenced to ten years imprisonment and 0.1 million fine in verdict by justice Jawad Abbas. The case was registered in 2015 and the court reserved its decision in last December. All the accused were booked in a case filed by Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) for disseminating blasphemous content on social media and websites. Investigation was also carried on by the same institute.

Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi, in a tweet from his official tweeter handler, commended the verdict. He vowed to back each quality judgment and foil international attempts to reverse such verdicts (in blasphemy cases) through higher courts.
