Govt. seems not serious in releasing detained and arrested TLP workers: Dr. Shafiq Ameeni

Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan expressed concerns over not releasing detained and booked TLP chief and workers. "The process of releasing inmate workers is very slow and can't be deemed as satisfactory," said Dr. Shafiq Ameeni while addressing to press conference in Jamia Masjid Rehmatulilalameen after meeting of Central Executive Committee (CEC). Remember that interior minister, in an on record video message on April 20, vowed to release all detained and in fourth schedule TLP persons. But till now, TLP chief Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi and hundreds of workers are still in prisons.

Press conference was called to announce future road map amid government stubbornness over recent agreement with TLP. "But CEC decided to postpone announcement of future roadmap due to recent very assurance by govt. to release TLP workers in few days." told Dr. Shafiq Ameeni. Besides, he presented the visual evidence of state brutality on TLP's peaceful sit-ins and its twenty five martyrs who were hit by straight firing of Police and Rangers.
