Father of Pakistan's nuclear programme, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan dies in detention

Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, world renowned physicist and father of Pakistan's nuclear programm, died at age of 85. Tehreek Labbaik Pakistan, extended its condolences to the family of the national hero over the nation's loss.

Remember, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan had been living a life in home detention for more than 20 years. He filed multiple petitions at several times against this but there was no significant progress on any of them and he was still allowed to only restricted movements.

In the videos, circulating on social media, a massive gathering can be seen in faisal mosque to offer the funeral prayer of Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan. People kept on chanting Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah and Tajdar e Khatam e Nabuwat Zindabad. An Al-Fatiha gathering was organized at TLP secretariat Jamia Masjid Rehmatuilalameen after Maghrib prayer. In a video message, central executive committee of TLP extended their condolences to family of Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan and expressed deep grief over the loss of unsung national hero.
